• PDW in NYC?
» Posted on April.10.2008
PDW hasn't slowed down one bit after Blind Fury. Between the recent opening of PDW's new restaurant located in Old City, Philadelphia as well as unforgettable Disclosure events the company looks to be stronger than ever. But is it all smooth sailing or are there the usual bumps in the road?
Recently PDW has signed various new superstars such as "Red Hott" Casey Hutchins, the ever mysterious Odd, cocky superstar Nicholas Jaxx, and legendary Pete Ebdon. And just at the last Disclosure the world was in for a shock when PDW superstar Joshua Payne made his return known to everyone, especially the Platinum Champion, Mike Ryba.
And just recently the next Pay Per View has been announced and it looks as though Platinum Dynasty Wrestling will venture outside of Philadelphia as well as the state of Pennsylvania for the very first time when "DISHONORABLE DISCHARGE" takes place in Madison Square Garden. With the lineup already forming the show is already expected to be an event to remember.
• Breaking News: Toni Terror
» Posted on March.5.2008
Los Angeles – Sarah Knight, known best to the world of wrestling as Platinum Dynasty Wrestling superstar “Fatal” Toni Terror, was placed into a drug rehabilitation program after being found sprawled across her floor, barely able to speak. Upon her awakening in a downtown hospital, she continued mumbling about a man known simply as ‘Luke Knight.’ However—there’s more.
Luke Knight, deceased brother to Sarah, landed a fatal blow in a car crash only seven years prior to this incident. According to those close to Ms. Knight, there had never been a person more personal to her than he.
In a moment of incoherent rambling, she continued telling doctors that her brother was alive, and that she had to leave in order to find him. After many sedatives and a confrontation with a board of specialists, a conclusion was, at last, made on behalf of Ms. Knight’s well-being.
Sarah Knight was admitted into an unnamed psychiatric ward only days after her hospital visit, this news coming just days before her big match against PDW superstars Sean Williams, Bloodshed Champion, and Steve Jason.
PDW Owner, known simply as Star, has issued a release for Sarah Knight from her coming match at the Pay Per View Blind Fury. “I only hope she gets the help she needs in order to successfully continue here, and, especially, in life!” Star says. “She’s a phenomenal talent, and we’re devastated to hear this tragic outcome. I and all of PDW will be keeping Sarah in our prayers.”
There is no known time limit on how long Sarah will be staying at the in-patient program, but doctors have commented that this is a critical problem that must be dealt with until she is broken from all drug and alcohol connections. That is all the information we have at the moment. We will continue to bring the latest of this breaking story and more in the next weeks to come.
