Disclosure 06.10.08

This week’s episode of PDW Disclosure had all the critics saying the same thing: WHAT A SHOW!

The events of Aversion Therapy have not gone unnoticed in the Platinum Dynasty Wrestling locker-room and it seems that if former PDW Bloodshed Champion gets his way then the prophesised war between “The Pantheon” and “The World” that reigning PDW Platinum Champion Joshua Payne believes is on the horizon won’t come to pass at all because Steve Jason is determined to take the Pantheon out all by himself. The question is however is he “all talk” because by the time that Disclosure was over it was the Pantheon standing tall once again as Payne and Jaxx laid out their biggest threat after yet another successful victory for the former Bloodshed Champion. The temperature is definitely heating up on this feud...

Aurora Snow isn’t taking the Pantheon’s actions at Aversion Therapy lying down either. The first target on this One Woman Army’s list is “Apostle of the Pantheon” Jason Stone and she made her opinions about him well known when she laid waste to him with a steel chair in the back. Stone didn’t take it lying down though, getting his revenge almost instantly as he gave the richest woman in PDW a pedicure that she’ll not soon forget courtesy of a blow-torch! Aurora is NOT going to be happy going in to next week’s Disclosure and one thing’s for sure, when Aurora Snow isn’t happy people find out about it!

The action wasn’t completely confined to the growing war with the Pantheon however as Hannah St. John added yet another successful championship defence of her Cyber Championship belt to her résumé with a big win over the aforementioned Aurora Snow, but no sooner was she done with one challenger than the Kingpin, the man who’d won a number one contendership match for that very belt, made his presence known in the dominant champions life by stealing the Cyber Championship belt from right in front of her. Kingpin’s already added two impressive victories to his growing reputation in PDW; will he finally be the man to claim the Cyber Championship from Hannah St. John?

Speaking of Championships, the PDW Next Big Thing Champion, the man called Inferno, has been on a roll of his own recently. He’s dominated every time his championship has been at stake and there looked to be no end in sight to his winning streak – then enter Eric Fischer, the man called Draven! In probably the stand-out contest of the night Draven was able to upset the NBT Champion and pin his shoulders to the mat in the middle of the ring. What does this mean for the rookie Draven? Will this non-title victory throw him in to contention for the NBT belt? And how will Inferno recover from this shocking upset loss?

The only disappointment for the wrestling fans came in the form of two withdrawals from the scheduled four-team PDW World Tag Team Championship match. With the competitors down to just two teams it seems Blake Selters deemed the match unworthy of being the decider for the vacant World Tag Team straps, instead changing the rules at the last moment. The Pantheon team of Platinum Champion Joshua Payne and Prodigy Champion Pete Ebdon came out successful in the match and their reward was to tar and feather their remaining opponents, Rob Faith and Ryan Atticus. But without the tag team championships to show for it could this signal the end of the Pantheon’s dominating streak?

The biggest question mark of all hanging over the heads of PDW fans right now however is the proverbial new kids on the block, Drake and Catalina Benjamin, who got themselves more airtime than anybody thought newbie’s could. Not only were the couple involved in witnesses a beat down on one of the two entrants to the Platinum Cup Qualifier, “The Tank” Troy Trinidad, but they popped up repeatedly across the show leaving havoc in their wake. The biggest surprise of all came when Drake Benjamin interrupted the Platinum Cup Qualifier not as a competitor but to steal the referee away from the ring. So just what are the plans of PDW’s hottest new couple, and what is their connection to General Manager Blake Selters?

The answers will come thick and fast next Tuesday night as the lights go back on bright at the Dynasty Spectrum. Will we finally find out just who Blake and Catalina Benjamin really are? They take on the debuting Ace of Spades and the woman who Blake screwed out of a chance at the Platinum Cup, Tatiana. Aurora Snow gets her shot at revenge against Jason Stone and there’s only one thing we know for sure about this one: somebody is going home in an Ambulance! The king of the upsets Draven looks to make it two in a row as he squares off in a non-title match against PDW Prodigy Champion Pete Ebdon and in the main event put the kids to bed early because this one is going to be bloody: Nicholas Jaxx defends his newly won Bloodshed Championship match against “The Tank” Troy Trinidad! All this and the debut of new faces as well.

Plus: Will Hannah St. John reclaim her stolen championship? The Cyber Championship will NOT be on the line this week due to the controversy surrounding the stolen championship but what will Kingpin think about delaying his opportunity for the gold? What will Inferno have to say about his loss last week to Draven? And what vengeance will Steve Jason cook up for the two men who laid him out last week and who will he focus his revenge on more, his nemesis Jaxx or the Platinum Champion Joshua Payne, who seems determined to rid PDW of him just as he did Mike Ryba and Julian Dark! Find out this Tuesday night exclusively when PDW presents another exciting episode of DISCLOSURE.

Keeping the ball rolling
» Posted on May.24.2008
Another Disclosure hit the vault on the 20th of May, paving the road for yet another amazing Pay Per View with a show that will not soon be forgotten. In the Dynasty Spectrum we saw the most impressive debut match to date with the debut battle royal that featured eight promising superstars, but it quickly came down to just four in Jason Stone, Kingpin, Ryan Atticus and Draven and soon down to only two as the fans stood in awe watching the daredevil Draven even go so far as to take out a ladder. But it was Ryan Atticus who barely scraped away with the win and a bright future her in Platinum Dynasty Wrestling.

As usual, with an action pack card from top to bottom there were some mishaps. PDW owner Star, who had been out of town for the night, was shown at a press conference where she announced the promotion of a brand new General Manager in Blake Selters, but the short-fused boss was then set off by former PDW interviewer Savon Sem. And after Star's attack on her there are talks of a lawsuit. How would such a thing affect the future of PDW?

THe recently announced Platinum Cup tournament also continued on as a new person moved onto the second round. The show's main event between Joshua Payne and Nicholas Jaxx ended with a heart stopping turn of events that you would have to see to believe! And with this show in the books, PDW leaves town for the second time in history for Boston where the show "Aversion Therapy" will take place.

The show is already the talk of the country and the lineup has been announced. As to be expected the Platinum Cup tournament will proceed and a shocking main event headlines the card for the Bloodshed Championship. This is the first time in PDW history that the Platinum title will not be defended in a Pay Per Views main event. What is going on? And will the boss be there to speak about it?

The show will also feature the Pay Per View show "The Naked Truth" with Aurora Snow and Dayshia Raye and their guests are surely going to make it a grand one.

Dishonorable Discharge
» Posted on April.29.2008

Platinum Dynasty Wrestling absolutely tore the roof off with "Dishonorable Discharge" this Sunday in New York City. It was rumored to be a show to get the ball rolling for a new era in PDW and all rumors proved to be true when the company put on the biggest show in it's history. Although late to the event due to unforeseen but still extremely annoying circumstances, Star couldn't have been more proud of the results. "I said it would be a great show. And it was," states the 25 year old owner of PDW. The event saw many new chapters introduced as well as some unfortunate endings to some.

The show kicked off with the presence of "Order of Chaos" members Nicholas Jaxx and Pete Ebdon before new comer Lupus Nebula made a successful debut against Jon Reeper. The Cyber Champion Hannah St. John was also in attendance, successfully defending her title against Dylan Cage with ease. And a bitter rivalry did anything but end as Rachel Stevens and Casey Hutchins finally met one on one, with Rachel barely scathing away with the win in a surprising "Rip Off the Camouflage" match. And to the surprise of some, Pete Ebdon successfully defeated former Cyber Champion Kindred London, just before NBT Champion Inferno retained his title against Rachel Price, who, as just reported, was later fired by Star for incompetence via text message (yes, she really does stuff like this). In addition, Bloodshed Champion Steve Jason narrowly managed to hold on to his belt while Prodigy Champion Julian Dark evened the score between he and rival Joseph St. John. Although earlier in the night seemingly at odds, a twisted turn of events would see Pete Ebdon and new Platinum Champion Joshua Payne unite.

Moments after Platinum Dynasty Wrestling Dishonorable Discharge went off the air former Platinum Champion Mike Ryba was rushed to a local New York medical facility for further evaluation. It was suspected by PDW Medical Officials that Mike Ryba sustained a severe concussion to go along with the large gash to his forehead and a potential neck injury. The good news is Mike Ryba was awake and responsive on route to the hospital, but there has been no further word on the former champion’s condition. Early diagnosis could see Mike Ryba missing considerable in-ring time, but nothing can be confirmed at this time. More information will be provided when it becomes available.
